Our First Fur-Employee!

Our most recent addition to the team comes with four legs, a long tail, eats our furniture and codes with us - in an all-new language “woof”. You heard that right! Introducing “The Super Mario!”

We named him after the infamous Italian plumber, Super Mario who travels across eight worlds to restore order to the Mushroom Kingdom and to rescue Princess Peach. Our Mario is no less super! When we were thinking of naming him, we had some outrageous options that swirled around including Biriyani, Django, Bandit (seriously!), Brutus and Messi. Thank God, someone came up with ‘Mario.’

Mario’s Role at Paperflite

In his new role as the Chief Welcome Officer, Mario greets everyone with 500 tail wags, 100 wet wipes for the face and 50 jumps to keep your attention as you walk-in. Every single day!

In less than just a few weeks since he joined our team, Mr. Mario has worked very hard to create a strong identity for all of us at Paperflite. If you don’t have nicks and scars, you are not one of us. Ah! Those battle scars!

While the world drowns in artificial intelligence he coaches us to better understand natural intelligence. Yes, stuff like instinct, empathy, emotion, habit, joy and sometimes how worse a bio-emergency can get :).

Mario’s Daily Routine

Mario takes fitness very seriously. At the end of a busy day on the work floor, you can find Mario on Cardio at our backyard gym.

Mario walks into the office around 9 am and takes stock of who’s in the office, who’s making his/her latte, who’s ready to give him a hand so he could nip at it and promptly proceeds to his favorite play area – the meeting room.

He’s still trying to figure out why do people speak to each other behind glass doors and will camp outside the door if he’s not let in. After playing around, he grows a little tired and makes himself cozy in his makeshift bed. Nothing in this world will deter him from dozing away. Not even the loudest noise from the construction work next door.

In his free time, Mario loves fashion designing – he makes organically-ripped Jeans, shoes, and a whole lot of exclusive designs. Organically ripped is sure to be the next big thing in vogue!

At the end of a long day, Mario goes home with our CTO every evening to teach him more technology - after hours. The last time we heard, he wasn’t too happy with the way the Tom-Cat servers were working!

The Office Atmosphere

It’s just been a few weeks since we got Mario, but it seems like ages already! When we tell our customers and business partners about him, the usual reaction is “Are you serious? Did you get a dog at your office? I want to meet him.”

Honestly, in today’s mad world where people are crazy about technology, gadgets, and mobiles, he is proving to be an antidote to us all.

Some of us just melt at the sight of his yearning for a banana-flavored treat, whilst others scamper to safeguard their slip-on, bags, and the wires lying around. But, not one of them will shoo away Mario because he is way too cuddly for that. Such has been his effect on us.
